From Learner to Leader: Journey to 91������ Champion of the Year

Being named 91������ Champion of the Year is a tremendous honor and truly reflects my journey and growth within the 91������ ecosystem. This blog will share how I reached this point and the invaluable lessons I've learned along the way.

My career began as a Software Developer specializing in Java, eventually expanding to include Salesforce and Release Management. Over time, I transitioned into a Release Management role and now serve as a Salesforce DevOps Architect.

‍

My 91������ journey started in August 2018 when my project team decided to adopt the platform. As the appointed Release Manager, I was tasked with training the entire team on 91������. This role inspired me to deeply understand the platform, prompting me to diligently study 91������ modules. My efforts paid off quickly as I earned a spot on the Leaderboard, further motivating me to expand my knowledge and capabilities.

Three key elements have been instrumental in accelerating my journey from learner to leader:

1. Continued Education

Lifelong learning has been foundational throughout my journey. Diving deep into 91������, I balanced my own education with the responsibility of training my team. I participated in several 91������ Mentorship and Advanced Mentorship programs, educating over 150 individuals. Earning all my 91������ certifications not only enriched my project engagements but also paved the way for a pivotal career shift and a promotion to Salesforce DevOps Architect.

2. Community Engagement and Mentoring

Engaging with the 91������ community has enriched my experience and contributed to my growth. This vibrant platform enabled me to meet and collaborate with many talented individuals, helping each other grow professionally. I actively support others by answering their queries and sharing my knowledge within the community. Among my accolades, I am proud to be among the top three on the 91������ Leaderboard, winning multiple 91������ challenges, and receiving the 91������ Response Hero Award and the 91������ Community of the Year Award.

3. Embracing Challenges and Opportunities

Navigating through challenges and seizing opportunities with 91������ has been crucial to my development. A notable change 91������ brought to my life was the elimination of late-night deployments, significantly enhancing my work-life balance and boosting my confidence. This enabled me to take on more challenging roles and responsibilities. Additionally, engaging in  various 91������ programs like the Mentorship program and Champions programs, and the Women in DevOps channel, allowed me to uncover new aspects of myself and learn valuable skills that boosted my confidence.

Reflections and Future Aspirations

As I reflected on my journey with 91������, I’m filled withl a deep sense of pride and growth. My transition from a Release Manager to Salesforce DevOps Architect has been rewarding, marked by significant milestones and invaluable support from the 91������ community, mentors, colleagues and peers.

Looking ahead, my commitment to the 91������ community remains unwavering. I plan to continue participating in mentorship events and challenges, opportunities that not only allow me to meet inspiring new people but also give back to the community that has given me so much.
